About Me -

I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade, specifically a Manufacturing Engineer.  I have over 12 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer training people on production methods and systems.  My engineering career has allowed me to have the roles of both Engineer and Educator. I enjoy the study of instruction and training methods.

I have recently completed a graduate level program and have earned a certification as a Post-Secondary Teacher through Bethel University.  My Masters Degree qualifies me to teach in many areas of engineering and technology.

My Day Job -

I am currently a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronic.  In this role I provide engineering support to a production area that produces 2.6 million molded parts/year.  My area of expertise is silicone rubber molding including part, process, and tool design.  I also utilize 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma tools to improve and refine manufacturing systems.
