The goal of FavIconBlog.com is to provide the information and tools to implement a favicon on your personal Blog or Webpage. Here you can find the information in the Tutorials Section, and the programs to get the work done in the Tools Section.
I have made available a tool that allows people to create favicons from their own images. (FavIcon Generator)
This allows Blog and Website owners to have a Custom FavIcon that is unique. Not everyone has the creativity or time to make their own images. I have found some really great sites that offer free favicons or images ready for use.
FreeFavIcon.com is a great site for pre-made FavIcons. They have a ton of them all ready for you to download and use. All the graphics are well organized by category. A Great Site!
FreeIconsWeb.com has a huge variety of graphics in a well organized site. They are all free to use for personal use. You need permission for commercial use. The graphics on this site are not ready to use as FavIcons, because they are too large, but you can use the FavIcon Generator to prepare them for deployment. I have tried a few, and they scale pretty well, and look great.
These are just two sites that I have used and recommend. Do a search and you can find many more. I only like to promote sites and tools that I have used, but I am always on the lookout for new ones. Let me know in the comments section about any sites you have found and find useful.
